How accurate are the cost estimates?
Our cost estimates are based on UK construction industry averages and should be used as approximate guides only. Actual repair costs can vary significantly based on location, extent of damage, property access, and contractor rates. Always obtain multiple quotes from qualified tradespeople.
What image formats are supported?
We support JPEG, PNG, and WebP image formats with a maximum file size of 20MB per image. For best results, use well-lit, focused photos taken with a modern smartphone or camera.
What video formats are supported?
For Video Walkthroughs (Pro/Enterprise), we support MP4, MOV, AVI, and WebM formats with a maximum file size of 500MB. Our system extracts frames every 3 seconds for AI analysis, with up to 30 frames per video.
How does Video Walkthrough analysis work?
When you upload a video, our system extracts frames at 0.5 fps (one frame every 3 seconds). Each frame is analyzed by our RICS-trained AI surveyor. The system then uses spatial aggregation to combine duplicate defects detected across multiple frames, giving you a comprehensive master report.
How many photos should I upload?
We recommend uploading at least 10-15 photos covering all main areas of the property: living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, exterior walls, roof (if visible), and any areas of concern. More photos generally lead to more comprehensive analysis.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your photos, videos, and analysis results are stored securely and are only accessible to your account. We do not share your data with third parties. You can delete your property inspections and all associated data at any time.
Can I use this for commercial properties?
While our AI can analyze commercial property photos and videos, the cost estimates are primarily calibrated for residential UK properties. Commercial property repairs often have different cost structures.
